Hiccup is an adult Olive Ridley sea turtle. He came to us on February 3rd, after being found in Dhaalu Atoll due to a boat strike injury. Upon arrival, our vet team was able to treat the wounds on his head and his carapace which have now fully healed. Hiccup has had a long healing process, but he will be releasable once he is healthy. Right now, we are focused on getting Hiccup to begin eating, but for now, he has a feeding tube so that we are sure he is getting all the nutrients he needs.
